'The Representation of the Federal States in Berlin are imaginary places in terms of their importance – imaginary because the significance of their representation is far more important then that of the actual buildings function. They represent the national federal principle, the Federal Council and with that, a modern and complex society. The function of the building itself is however, limited to offering office, administration and lodging spaces. The task therefore is to find a type of architecture that does not purely represent and portray the buildings spatial functions. ...
